​​​Freedom Dog Rescue is a non-profit registered charity which was founded in Ottawa in February 2015. They are an all-breed, all-size, foster-based rescue. Which operates in Ottawa and surrounding areas. They are dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs, as well as dogs from shelters or surrenders.

The Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue was founded in 2011 with a mission to
get adoptable cats off the streets and into homes in addition to
supporting stray cat colonies in the Ottawa region. They are 100% volunteer-based. They save over 750 cats every year.

Since 1970, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ottawa has been creating strong relationships between Mentors & Mentees. They know that they can change the course of a community’s future. Mentors in the programs are role models that teach by example.

Keshet Rescue specializes primarily in large breed owner surrenders.

They want to help large breed dogs because they are more at risk in the “system” and all too often become victims of circumstance.

Sit with me does not discriminate based on breed, age, lack of manners, medical background or current medical state. Those animals that need them most. All their dogs receive the vet care, love, exercise and attention they need before being placed up for adoption.
